Support ISMS: Healing After Murder-Suicide
Donation protected
Hello friends and family. We are Impacted Survivors of Murder-Suicide. Founded in 2024, our organization is driven to raise the awareness of this type of loss and to help provide resources and support to those left behind dealing with unimaginable grief.
We are made up of loss survivors, so we know first-hand the lack of help that is available to this type of tragedy. That is why we formed ISMS - to impact our community in a way that destigmatizes murder-suicides and reduces the shame around our grief.
Our core team is comprised of 3 individuals: Tina Chevalier, Kristina Faulkner and Michael Vinton. Together we have managed to:
- build our own website
- launch a BLOG
- curate a list of resources for fellow survivors
- record and edit our Podcast: Unspoken Grief: finding strength in silent struggles
- design and write curriculum for our support group and our 6 week grief course
- book & present our first virtual continuing education seminar for the Mental Health Alliance of Southwestern Illinois
All of this was achieved in an 8 month span this year. It's safe to say that we've worked very hard and efficiently as this cause is so obviously needed but also that is so near and dear to our hearts. We have self-funded the higher ticket items such as:
- website domain name + website hosting
- Podcast studio membership & launching pad
- business cards
- call to action/help cards for "what to do in the first 72 hours"
- as well as cover art and various logo designs

Now we need your help. In order for ISMS to reach the fullest of its potential & branch out for a higher capacity, we need to hire a web designer to help with our SEO. (Search Engine Optimization) in simpler terms we need to be more Google-able for our loss survivors to find us. In the very competitive world of the internet, money talks and so does hiring the right person to help get your site seen.
With the funds raised, we can achieve a greater amount of impact and thus help more loss survivors quicker. As some of you may know, the community of murder-suicide loss survivors is an ever growing one, but we're also an overlooked and underserved group. What's the point of opening up the store if people can't find us?
Won't you consider donating any amount to help us with our websites SEO and functionality?
