One of our community youth, Ismael, who is a bright, determined, and academically strong student is facing challenges that no young person should have to endure. Despite excelling in his classes, maintaining a positive spirit, and demonstrating strong character, he is currently experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. These circumstances have created immense obstacles, making it difficult for him to fully focus on his education and participate in opportunities that support his growth. Even in the face of these hardships, he remains committed to his studies and continues to show resilience, perseverance, and hope for his future.

Beyond his academic success, this student has expressed a deep desire to give back to his community as he grows older. He dreams of using his education to uplift others and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing challenges similar to his own. Unfortunately, the costs associated with college visits, along with the urgent need for stable housing and daily meals, have created significant barriers.
