With broken hearts, we share the loss of our beautiful baby girl, Isla Elizabeth Barber-Shinkle, who passed away on August 26, 2025, just 21 days after blessing us with her presence.

Born on August 5, 2025, Isla’s time with us was brief, but her impact was immeasurable. Her time with us brought so much joy and light to everyone around her — a pure, sweet soul who filled our hearts with love from the very first moment. Though she was with us for only a short while, she gave us a lifetime of love.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of Isla’s memorial and burial services, to honor her life with the tenderness and care she deserves along with supporting her parents with any unexpected costs that may arise during this period. This is a deeply painful time for our family, and we’re grateful for any support you can offer — whether through a donation or by simply sharing this page with others.
