️️Update on sweet Isla️️
We have tried to reach as many friends as possible, Ian and I are deeply saddened to make this post.
On 11-11-25 @ 11:44am Isla ran into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ. She peacefully passed lying on my chest, with her Daddy’s arms wrapped tight around us both. She did not suffer. Thank you Lord! ✝️☝
There are no words to explain the deep loss we feel as a family, trying to navigate this unimaginable grief and pain in our hearts.
Isla was a GIFT to anyone who knew her, especially us. We have so much love in our family of 4. She fought hard with grace, and trusting God the entire time.
Right now we ask for prayers of strength to get through these days ahead….years ahead.
We love you Isla Quin forever and ever for always!
Thank you all for your support. We do ask for privacy for a bit of time as we go through emotions and planning.
Remember to ALWAYS Live like Isla, LOVE like Isla! ✝️☝ — with Ian Utrup.
Isla needs a miracle! Please help support Isla and her family in the fight for her life.
‼️Urgent support needed for the Utrup family, who are currently facing an incredibly difficult situation. Their 10-year-old daughter, Isla, has recently been diagnosed with malignant brain cancer.
What's particularly heart-wrenching is that Isla was misdiagnosed and treated for a different condition for over six months. It wasn't until a recent MRI that the true extent of her illness was discovered.
Isla's journey has been filled with challenges. Within days of her diagnosis, she underwent three brain surgeries. Presently, she has started oral chemotherapy and radiation treatments. However, the aggressive nature of the tumor presents significant hurdles to her recovery.
If the diagnosis and care needed to treat this disease wasn’t enough, there is the financial toll this disease takes on families. Currently the family is traveling M-Fr 56 miles each way to receive radiation for 6 weeks. Isla’s mother, Brye, has expired her FMLA as a result, she had to quit her job of 26 years to care for Isla full time.
Let’s all come together to lessen the financial burden as much as possible. Any amount you feel called to contribute is appreciated. Funding raised that doesn’t go to treatment and travel, will be donated back to research and help other families like the Utrup’s. Please share this campaign to maximize the visibility!
Most of all, we ask for prayers, for a miracle of complete and total healing.
Your thoughts, prayers, and gentle love are not only sources of comfort but also pillars of strength for Isla and her family during this difficult journey. Please keep Isla, her family, and the medical team in your your prayers. (when sharing, make sure to change the privacy setting to public for maximum exposure ❤️)
