Hi, I'm Lynn Coppinger, President, and I'm raising funds for Island Gallery and Studios, a vital community hub dedicated to promoting access to the arts.
This incredible organization helps nurture creativity and supports local artists, fostering a vibrant cultural atmosphere. Your contributions can make a real difference in the lives of those who rely on these artistic opportunities.
Donations empower Island Gallery and Studios to continue its important work, including efforts such as:
- • Providing essential resources to artists and community members seeking artistic expression.
- • Creating engaging exhibitions that connect local talent with the wider community.
- • Developing educational arts programs that inspire creativity in individuals of all ages.
After 35 years of bringing beauty, creativity, and inspiration to the Gulf coast of Florida, our beloved Island Gallery and Studios needs your help. Your support means so much to the community and the artists who thrive here. Together, we can ensure that Island Gallery and Studios continues to be a beacon of creativity and inspiration.
We are a 501(c)3 artist owned and operated gallery, and for 33 of those years, we proudly called Anna Maria island home. Locals and visitors alike knew us as a cornerstone of the island’s art scene – a place where fine art came to life, where artists found a new home, and where so many of you found that perfect piece to take home.
But in 2023, we lost our lease and were forced to relocate. While we’re grateful to still have a space in downtown Bradenton to showcase art, the move had a big impact on our visibility and sales. Many longtime customers still don’t know we’ve moved, and the shift has been tough – emotionally and financially.
That’s why we’re reaching out. We’re asking for help to keep the lights on, the art hanging, and the dream alive.
We’re also evolving to meet the moment: expanding our offerings beyond fine art to include gifts, artisan goods, and seasonal items, especially for the holidays. We’re hopeful this shift will bring in new customers and help us grow stronger – but we need a little support to get there.
If this gallery has ever brought you joy, sparked your imagination, or helped you find the perfect gift or piece of art – we’d be so grateful for your support now.
Every donation – big or small – will go directly toward rent, utilities, marketing, and helping us gear up for the holiday season.
Let’s keep art alive in our community. Let’s make sure the next chapter of this gallery’s story is just as beautiful as the last 35 years have been.
With gratitude,
