Support Isla and Her Mom in Portland

Hi dear friends and kind strangers, I’m a solo Mama to a four-and-a-half year old daughter, Isla. We live a very peaceful and happy life in Portland, Oregon where we have sweet community and a little rental house that’s perfect for us.

My divorce a few years ago left me with no finances to start our life, and we get only a minimum amount legally required each month. (Without getting into it, that’s what was best.)

I’ve made it work (though often barely) by working for myself, and in order to thrive I set out to find a salaried position in May of 2024. I didn’t expect to still be looking a year later.

With the job market what it is, I’ve started a new business that has garnered much excitement but like all things will take time to grow to provide stability.

Right now, we need help. I’m hoping for some funds to help with our household bills and general expenses for the next few months, that will keep us from getting into debt or having to lose what we have here in Portland that we are so grateful for.
