Support Isis' Recovery and Her Children's Needs

Hello,

My name is Bianca. I am Isis’ sister.

I am starting this GoFundMe because on Sunday night November 17th, Isis was in a bad car accident in Sierra Vista, AZ and is currently suffering & recovering from many injuries that she obtained from the crash.

Isis’ chest hit the steering wheel going at a high speed, resulting in her aorta (main artery) in her heart being torn. She was life flighted to Tucson and placed into emergency surgery as it was a life or death situation. We were told by the cardiology team that 80% of people with an aorta injury die before they even make it to the hospital. Thankfully, the surgery for a stint to repair her artery was successful however that was not her only injury. Isis also suffers from a lacerated liver, a fractured hip, a shattered knee and a shattered ankle, also the immense trauma from the crash.

Isis had just started a new job not even two weeks before the accident, hoping to work to buy new clothes for her three young kids [Ayala “Lala”(6), Ezekiel “Zeke”(4) and Israel(3)] and start buying Christmas presents.

Currently, her siblings and mom are taking shifts being with Isis at the hospital and caring for her kids who are in need of a miracle.

With this very unexpected and unfortunate circumstance, our family is no where near being financially prepared to bear this burden. All proceeds and donations will solely go to Isis’ children for everything they need in the next couple of months, including groceries, clothes they need, etc. and helping her siblings and mom commute to the hospital to be with her. The two booster seats and one car seat Isis had for her children in the car are completely totaled. Nayeli (sister) and I will need to replace these seats for our cars to commute the kids to school, extra curricular activities, daycare and drs appointments.

***As of 11/20/24, two convertible car seats were purchased by a family friend for the kids. We are in need of maybe one more booster seat.

We please ask if you have any hand me down clothing for Girls Size 7 and boys Size 5T and 4T, we will happily accept them.****

Isis has a long journey ahead of her, but the most important thing is she is alive and gets a second chance at life. She is so lucky to be here and we couldn’t be more thankful.

PSA: I pay for a subscription to Life360 for my immediate family’s circle. Isis had crash detection turned on and I never received an alert for Isis’ crash from Life360. I received it from Apple, who also called 911 for Isis at the same time I received a notification and sent the exact location to myself and EMS. We believe the quick EMS call from Isis’ iPhone played a huge part in saving her life. I want you all to know this because if you have the opportunity to, I beg you to TURN THIS SETTING ON IN YOUR IPHONE and set your emergency contacts to your closest loved ones. You don’t think it can happen until it happens to you.
