On the morning, Raymond Milczewski took his final rest. He lit up the room as soon as he entered it, either by his smile, boisterous laugh, or his electrified personality. He had the uncanny ability to bring people together through his charm and intelligence.

For the most wonderful man, with the most beautiful family, no words can possibly express what is being felt right now. But we're all feeling it. As we cry, as we laugh, as we gather, it is all in beloved memory of Raymond Milczowski. One of the sweetest, most thoughtful and kind people that we have ever had the honor and privilege of knowing and loving. He had the loudest belly laugh you've ever heard. And he was the best friend you could ever have. He loved history, fine food and drink, music, nature, his amazing wife and his friends.

Because of him, we all found each other. Because of him, we're all still here together now. And because of him, the traditions that have been built will live on, with a glass raised in his name at every gathering. If you knew Ray, then you know what it is to feel truly loved. And if you are able, we ask for anything you can give to make sure his wife and family are taken care of, and can cover the costs associated with this devastation.
