Hello, my name is Isidora. I'm 19 years old, from Chile, and currently living in Dallas, TX. I got the opportunity to apply to this mission program in my church, Salvation Army, called Service Salvationist Corps, in which we serve in the church but especially serve communities and evangelize. This summer, 2025, I'm joining the missionary team to go to Ketchikan, Alaska.
Growing up, I have always been around people called to serve, one of the reasons why right now my family and I are in Texas and not Chile.
By experiencing this, I've been motivated to pursue others for God in every aspect of my life. I've helped in the church and in community service but never had an opportunity like this to travel and reach others in a project of service.
With this experience, I want to deepen my faith in God. Through service towards others, I'll be challenged to get out of my comfort zone and have a firsthand experience of the needs of other people in another culture that is not my own.
Now that I have this opportunity, I would really appreciate support through prayers and financially since I have to raise a little more than $750 to cover this trip. Please help me reach this goal and be able to experience what God has prepared for me and our team. Thank you so much for taking the time to help and donate.
