My name is Chris. One of our best friends, Ish, has been pummeled by a spate of hardships and we want to help him as he and his wife, Kristin, have been truly supportive friends to us. This fundraiser is being organized and promoted by some of their closest friends and family.

On Sunday, March 23, Kristin suffered a cardiac aneurysm. Her heart could not be restarted in time to prevent catastrophic brain damage, and she remained on life support for 2 weeks. Prior to this, Kristin had made the beautiful decision to be an organ donor, and therefore received a traditional Honor Walk; on Saturday, April 5th at 10:34pm she passed away, surrounded by family and friends.

Kristin and Ish are parents to a wonderful 14 year old daughter, Farrah, and amazing 13-year-old twin boys, Ethan and Riley.

Ish has been the working parent, while Kristin was a complete hands on, amazing stay at home mom. Without Kristin, Ish will be taking some time away from work, putting his children and their care first.

Ahead of him are medical bills, funeral costs, an interruption in employment, gap in support on the homefront, and so much more.

As he moves forward through his grief, while also being the support for his children, we are hoping to help lessen the burden for the children's future with this GoFundMe.

The money raised will help for the kids future needs, including any medical/therapy costs, sports, arts/theater programs, tutoring, college - just to name a few.

Life has been pretty harsh lately for our brother, Ish. He is a wonderful friend, brother, uncle, son, husband and father. We ask that if you have the means and are looking for ways to pay it forward, or maybe for ways to pay it back, please consider donating and help relieve Ish from at least some of the financial burden so that the children can try and continue on with their lives and prepare for their future, the way Kristin would have wanted them to.
