Isaiah is only 18 years old. Just stepping into adulthood. Just beginning to dream about the life ahead of him. He should be thinking about his next football season, his next wrestling match, his first steps into independence. Instead, Isaiah is lying in a hospital bed in Columbus, fighting for his future.
Two weeks ago, Isaiah suffered a prolonged and devastating seizure. Doctors call it “adult epilepsy,” but the truth is—they don’t yet know what’s happening to him. They are still searching for answers. What they do know is that this seizure has left Isaiah unable to move or feel the entire left side of his body. And while brain swelling after a seizure typically goes away within 48 hours, Isaiah’s has persisted for more than two weeks. The doctors are puzzled, and our family is left clinging to hope.
Isaiah has always been full of life—strong, determined, passionate. He loved being on the football field, wrestling mat, and making everyone around him laugh. Now, he faces a road no young man should ever have to walk. A road filled with uncertainty, with questions no one yet has the answers to.
And as his family, we are doing everything we can to stand by his side. But we cannot do it alone.
We urgently need your help to cover:
- Medical/Prescription Costs
- Gas and transportation so family can stay close by his side
- His everyday bills and living expenses as he begins short-term disability and faces a future that is still uncertain
Isaiah’s fight is just beginning. But with your love, your prayers, and your generosity, we can make sure he has the strength and support to face each day ahead.
Please, if you are able, consider making a donation to help Isaiah. If you cannot give, please share his story so others may join us in lifting him up. From the depths of our hearts, thank you for standing with Isaiah when he needs it most.
With love and hope,
Isaiah’s Family
