My name is Isaiah Jeremiah Nettles, son of Shantane Nettles. I still cannot believe I lost my mom , I feel so lost without her. To my knowledge my mom periodically has sei*****, however this time she was in her vehicle. She then pressed the gas pedal, ran through the garage door, and her car caught on fire, which spread to the house. All while still having a sei**** (the engine was still revving). Eventually I believe she passed out due to smoke inhalation, however the car then blew. My mother did not make it. I love her so much. I can’t express how unreal this reality is to me. I never imagined losing my mom so early, I feel so scared and alone. She was all I had. The closest person to me. I don’t know what to do. My mom helps me with everything. I know I have to continue to stay strong and move forward, but I’m not ready for the obstacles/challenges of life without her . I work 7 days a week, 140 hours a paycheck. I’ve always just wanted to be the best man I could be, and make my mother proud. She never even got to see me walk across the stage for middle or high school graduation. I’m determined to accomplish all my goals in life. I have to. 12000 is just a goal. Every 1$ is dearly appreciated. I just need help getting through the struggles I already had, and now my mom being deceased.
