My name is Isabel Rosado and I am a 19-year-old undergrad student. I am the eldest of four children and, since the end of my senior year of high school, have taken upon myself most of my financial responsibilities (car, school, necessities). I am doing my best and, to this day, have been able to support myself working three jobs throughout a year. I have paid bills on time and have consistently had money leftover if necessary, but it is a constant process of simply making of ends meet. I can’t fully breathe financially and that’s all I ask.
This year, I will be going into my 3rd semester of undergrad, as well as my 3 semester being financially independent. This semester, I am working 2 jobs while away at school and will be a part of an academic fellowship, which will likely cut down the hours I can work each week. I am grateful for the opportunities I have academically and am striving towards the future I believe for myself; however, in the striving, there is constant sacrifice and financial uncertainty. I know that I will continue to financially support myself, no matter how trying at times; however, any financial help would allow this year to dramatically improve as I am a young adult and student. I have faith that I will succeed and everything will work out. Any help towards my finances would be a blessing. Thank you!
