Support Isabel's Journey into Motherhood

Hello to my dearest family and friends!

As some of you may know, our family is about to get bigger. I am excited to announce that I am due to give birth to a baby girl at the end of July. While the pregnancy took me initially by surprise, I have grown- figuratively and literally, to cherish and love this little wonder filling my belly with life. There will be challenges ahead of me, and while being a single mom is never easy, I’ve chosen to accept the joy and responsibility of raising this child primarily on my own.

For the foreseeable future, I will be leaving my full time job in Sacramento and relocating to the Monterey Bay Peninsula area to live with my mother, Elizabeth.

One of my biggest burdens will be to maintain financial stability during this transition, especially as I set up my brand new life- plus one. Out of necessity, I’ve decided to set up a GoFundMe page to help with initial baby costs instead of a typical registry as I am looking to get a lot of these items second hand and trying to be as conservative as possible.

I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you might contribute whatever funds you can comfortably spare to help me with the initial costs I will be incurring over this next year. I can’t wait to share more of my incredible journey with you as it all unfolds! It takes a village to make miracles happen.
