Support Isabel's Fight for Recovery

On Sunday, July 20th, 16-year-old Isabel and her brother were visiting Wilmington when their car was struck by a drunk driver going 65 miles an hour. Isabel, who was in the back seat, sustained extensive and life-threatening injuries.

By a miracle, an ambulance happened to be at the intersection and was able to respond immediately, extricating her from the wreckage and rushing her to the hospital. We are deeply grateful for this life-saving response.

Isabel is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). She remains in critical condition and continues to fight for her life every moment.

We are launching this GoFundMe to support Isabel and her family as they navigate the long and uncertain journey ahead. Funds will go toward uncovered medical expenses—including a necessary medevac to a rehabilitation facility not covered by insurance—travel costs, and other unforeseen needs as her loved ones remain by her side.

Isabel is strong, brave, and full of life. She has big dreams and a bright future, and we are committed to doing everything possible to ensure she has the best chance at a full recovery.
