My name is Carolyne Profeta and my friend and colleague, Isabelle Preti, suffered a serious accident, resulting in a significant Trimalleolar right ankle fracture that required surgery. After her operation, Isabelle is now recovering at home. Unfortunately, she lost her insurance, and the medical bills from her treatment and recovery are enormous. The funds received by you will go directly to Isabelle to assist her in being able to pay her medical expenses.

Isabelle has been motivated by a strong desire to serve her community, and became a certified Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) member in April 2015. She quickly became an active leader within Monterey CERT, by becoming a nationally certified FEMA CERT instructor, as well as serving as a CERT Captain for the Monterey Old Town neighborhood. In this role, she has taken on significant responsibilities, including coordinating with local teams, attending monthly meetings, maintaining the CERT emergency container, and leading CERT training programs as part of the local instructor group. Her dedication has made a substantial difference in the lives of many.
