This past year, I was incredibly proud to win the title of 2024 Philippine Junior National Champion, and this season has been about taking the next big step. With my Junior Grand Prix debut behind me, my focus is now laser-sharp on the ultimate goal: qualifying for the ISU Junior World Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.
Chasing a dream this big is a huge challenge. A full season of training and competing at this level costs upwards of $25,000. Unlike larger skating federations, this cost is covered almost entirely by my family and the generosity of our community.
While the season-long goal is immense, we are focusing this campaign on the single most critical and time-sensitive step in that journey: the final Junior Worlds qualifying event. We have identified two excellent opportunities in late January: the Edge Cup in Poland and the more prestigious Challenge Cup in the Netherlands. We are now fundraising for this single, critical mission. The funds raised will allow us to book the best option as soon as flight and accommodation deals become clear.
