This summer, I have the incredible opportunity to spend seven weeks in Santiago, Chile, connecting with local schools and building relationships with the youth in the community. Through the SendMeNow program, I’ll be teaching English, participating in recreational activities, and, most importantly, sharing the love of Christ with the young people I meet. I am passionate about using my Spanish language skills to make a difference and am eager to invest intentional time with the Chilean youth, learning from them as much as I hope to encourage them.

I am not required to pay for this trip myself, but I am participating in a fundraising competition along with my friend John Felton in order to raise money for SendMeNow. SendMeNow is a BCM association that makes these life-changing experiences possible for college students like me. Without the financial support of generous donors, I—and many others—would not have the chance to serve in this way. Your support will help me reach my fundraising goal, but more importantly, it will help SendMeNow continue to send students on fully funded mission trips, expanding the reach of their ministry and impacting lives worldwide.

My heart for missions grew even deeper after a week-long trip to Honduras last summer. That experience opened my eyes to the impact of serving others and sharing the gospel in new places. Now, I am seeking to explore if God desires to use me in missions in the future, especially in South America. This trip is a step of faith for me, and I am excited to see how God will use this experience to shape my heart and calling.
