My name is Isabella, and I am a tattoo artist from Locust Grove. Over two years ago now, I was what I would call mutilated by another tattooist. I am scarred beyond repair without the help of a plastic surgeons help via scar excision. I live in constant pain. My arm feels like a lighter is being help up to it 24/7, I can’t wear certain clothing because of the pain but feel the need to cover it regardless due to the embarrassment from the constant glares and gasps followed by numerous questions about it. It has severely altered my life and my ability to use my right arm. I really need help to get this final surgery done so I can move on with my life. I’ve forgotten what it’s like to live without pain shooting through my arm all day long. The surgery is considered cosmetic even though it’s altering my capabilities so I will have to pay out of pocket (again) for this final surgery. I myself am already at about $10k into treatments for this arm, including the first excision and dozens of appointments where I have to get 13 excruciating steroid shots directly into the scars every month.
