Hi, my name is Isabella.

I'm currently a junior and a homeschool student, and I recently came across an opportunity in my town that I'm very excited about. There is a sister city exchange program here in which we will be traveling to Miyoshi City, Japan. High school students are invited to apply to serve as an ambassador of our town, which means immersing ourselves in the culture and staying with different families while also conducting ourselves with integrity and maturity as we're away from home. I sent in my application, went through a panel interview, and heard back in the middle of January that I had been chosen to join them this year! I will be responsible for attending language and cultural classes, as well as covering my portion of the trip. I told my parents I wanted to do what I could to help cover this cost, so I am reaching out to our friends and families to exhaust all options to meet this goal.

If any of our friends and family are local, I would love the opportunity to come do some small chores around your house, or even offer up my babysitting skills, in exchange for a donation. I have also had others reach out, both local and out-of-town, that wanted a secure way to make a donation, so here it is! I am very excited for this learning experience and so grateful for any help that others may be willing to give.
