Support Isaac's Journey in Karting and Skiing

Story

Hi, my name is Isaac Payn and I am an 11-year-old kart racer and ski racer. I have hopes to eventually race in an LMP car at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and ski at a college level when I’m older. I work hard at improving in both sports, including working out with a coach once a week, skiing indoors at Snobahn in the offseason, and working on weaknesses in my driving at our kart track learned from race weekends. We have also committed to racing and training at the Trackhouse club races as my team’s coach is there, the size of the field are large and the quality of the competition is high. Living in Colorado is great for skiing as we are close to the resorts and have a fairly long ski season. This helps with the costs of skiing but adds to karting costs as we need to fly to most races and work with a team to transport our equipment to the races. This also means that we need to have multiple karts to train in Colorado. I will be moving up to U14 for skiing this year, which will require multiple skis for each discipline and more travel to races. This year is my first year racing Junior in karting. The junior category is for 12-15-year-old kids and uses a full-size chassis. We run in the KA Jr class mainly. The engine is a 100cc 2-stroke engine that makes ~18 hp and goes 65-70 mph. This class has added cost due to the engine rebuild frequency and uses more sets of tires. We race 3 national series: Stars Championship, Super Karts USA, and US Pro Karting Series. There are a lot of skills that are only learned by racing, so the more you race, the more you will improve… in theory. I am a goal setter and understand that being at the top takes continuous dedication and commitment to each sport. By setting short and long-term goals, I can quantify my progress from the work I am putting into each sport relative to my competition. Money from this fundraising will go towards the following: Race fees Fuel Engine costs Tent/Team fees (Karting and Skiing) Karts and components Tires Skis Racesuits (karting and skiing) Helmet My progress and updates are posted on my IG @Isaac_Payn If you would like to sponsor something specific and put your business name on it, please reach out. Thanks for reading and I hope you can help me reach my dreams!!
