My name is Matilde, and I work for Stepping Stones International, a UK-registered charity organisation that has been operating in the Nkhatabay District, Malawi, since 2016. Our school currently provides education to over 300 students. We also run a nursery school and offer vocational training for young people in the local community. Among our students, there's Isaac, a 7-year-old boy with special needs who started his school journey this year. Unfortunately, Isaac does not currently have a suitable wheelchair or the support he needs during the school day. For this reason, his mother often has to stay with him at school to help care for him during the school hours. To ensure that his education is truly inclusive and dignified we would like to purchase a wheelchair for him and cover the cost of a dedicated assistant who can support him throughout his learning journey.
