Brother Isaac Chiu was recently diagnosed with a Germinoma tumor, a form of brain cancer, and has just completed his last treatment of chemotherapy. Isaac is a positive, kind, and strong individual, and no matter what he's going through, he always has a smile on his face. He is a rising Junior at Northeastern University, studying Finance.
To show our support as Isaac undergoes radiation treatments starting mid-August, we’re launching the Shave to Save fundraiser. We aim to come together to raise money and show Isaac that he’s not alone. Our chapter is committed to shaving our heads, and we’ve created a special “Shave to Save x Pi Kappa Alpha Team Chiu” T-shirt, available for $30. Shirts can be purchased using the links below. Free local pickup will be offered to the Northeastern community, along with a second option for purchasing individual shipping.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 through GoFundMe and sell more than 100 shirts. For every $1000 raised and every 10 shirts sold, one of our brothers will shave his head and share it on our Instagram page: @kappadeltapikes
