Support Irving's Critical Care at Tufts

Hi! Irving is 5 weeks old and not doing well. His mom dropped him on busy Irving St and did not come back for him despite efforts from wonderful people. He was brought into my office and I offered to adopt him. He had an infected eye, but was otherwise doing well, eating, playing. He received meds for his eye and was on his way to triple in size over the next 2 weeks. He was perfect-playful, cuddly, eating well and exploring his new house and family. He even came to work with me everyday for the first week and became the highlight of my colleague's days. Out of nowhere this week his health declined, he refused to eat or play. Two vet visits later, he was diagnosed with possible pneumonia and infection. He received subcutaneous fluids under his skin and did well for the night after the 1st visit, but has since declined. He received fluids again on 2nd visit and more antibiotics, but Irving refuses to eat and he is too small to afford not to. The next option is Tufts Animal Hospital for round the clock critical care. After spending almost $800 for the 3 total vet visits, meds and essentials, I cannot afford what was quoted as a roughly $4000 bill. Irving is so special to my family and colleagues, so if anyone can spare some change to help save this beautiful baby boy at this busy time of year, my family will be so grateful. Any generous funds will go only to Irving's care. I will post updates.
Update: Irving spent 2 days at Tufts, receiving antibiotics and tube feeding. This little survivor started eating from a bottle today and is showing strength. He perked up when he recognized my voice and his favorite blanket, but not out of the woods yet. Thank you to all who donated. Please continue to share his story.
Update: Thank you all so much for helping me help Irving. He has been home for 3 days and is doing great. He is eating on his own, gaining weight, and playing. He is lucky he is so cute! Thank you all and keep sharing.
