In May, Irma experienced an unexpected hardship when she was laid off from her job. While still trying to process that setback, she received devastating news just weeks later—doctors discovered a brain tumor.

Since her diagnosis on Tuesday, June 17, Irma has undergone two surgical procedures to remove the tumor. Thankfully, both surgeries went very well, and she is now on the path to recovery. But healing takes time, and the financial burden she’s facing is overwhelming.

Without a steady income, Irma was already stressing about the mounting costs of medical care, recovery, and daily living expenses. This GoFundMe is being set up to help ease that burden so she can focus on what matters most: healing and regaining her strength.
