Support Irma L. Quirumbay loss of loving Husband

Dear Friends & Family of the Quirumbay
Lopez family, 

On April 20th, 2020 at approximately 11:07AM we lost one of our family pillars Cesar G. Quirumbay Suarez. He had been fighting COVID19 since 03/20/2020 when he started showing symptoms. On 03/27/2020 he went to Christ Hospital in Jersey City NJ where he was taken via ambulance due to a 102°F fever that lasted 3 days. He was seen in a tent for 45 minutes and discharged. Once he arrived back home his condition continued to worsen, with overwhelming fears of going to the hospital, he decided to stay home and continue to fight. He went to Newark University Hospital on 3/30/2020 where he was admitted and tested for COVID19. His results were negative 2 times but the 3rd time returned positive. On 4/01/2020 he was intubated and admitted into the ICU where he fought for 20 days. 

This tragedy has scared the family he leaves behind unexpectedly. The feeling of impotence and inability to be next to a critically ill family member is devastating and traumatic. 

Cesar leaves a lovely family behind for whom he worked hard for to accomplish dreams. Migrating from Ecuador in 1998 and becoming a citizen was only one of his dreams. His talent in the art of Tailoring allowed him to work in the tailor firm Leonard Logsdail Bespoke in Manhattan. Cesar’s passing leaves many friends, family devastated and heartbroken.

Many friends and family have requested that this be set up as many would like to pay their respects by showing support to his wife, Irma L. Quirumbay Lopez.
