Hi everybody! My name is Iris Potts. I go to Liberty Christian Academy, attend the Sending Church in Jacksonville, and lead R-Youth worship at River of Life. This year I've had a calling. A calling to follow the assignment to God has brought in front of me. There is a mission trip at LCA in May of next year to Costa Rica. What I'm trying to learn day by day is that money should not stop me from following the assignment God is giving me. Mission isn't something I'm trying to view as a "vacation," or "trip over seas," it's an opportunity to see what people don't have and how we can change that.

I need to make payments in the next few months, but with a hardworking single mom of three, a dad with two kids and fiancé, a mission trip isn't exactly what everybody had in mind. If you cannot chip into my journey, please pray. If anything, pray over this trip. Pray, pray for the people we're gonna meet, the homes we're gonna get to bless, the courage and strength to share the gospel even AFTER the trip. I ask for prayer and anything that you can offer and I promise you to let this trip be something that can change my life and others for the better.
