Recover After a Devastating Car Accident

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out on behalf of Iris Mejia, her 3 grandchildren whom she is raising, who were recently involved in a serious car accident along with the 3 grandchildren. Their lives were turned upside down in an instant, and now they need our support more than ever.

On Sunday June 8, 2025, Iris was struck by another vehicle. Iris sustained multiple injuries and have required extensive medical treatment, including emergency care, surgery, and ongoing therapy. The children miraculously were uninjured. While we are incredibly grateful they are alive, their road to recovery will be long and difficult.

Why We Need Your Help

The costs of recovery are overwhelming. Medical bills, physical therapy, time off work, and basic living expenses will add up quickly. Neither Iris is currently able to return to work, and their financial situation is becoming critical.

We are asking for your help—whether you’re a close friend, family member, or someone who simply wants to lend a hand to two strong women facing a heartbreaking situation.

• Transportation to and from appointments
