Support Irfan’s recovery

 

On 9th February, our friend Irfan along with a few other friends suffered a terrible car crash. We're grateful he survived but his fight isn't over. He's an international student, far away from loved ones.

 

After the accident, Irfan suffered through multiple injuries including broken bones and fractures to his skull and collar bone, damaged facial nerves and a traumatic brain injury. Afterwards he was in the ICU for around 5 days, and spent a total of 15 days in the hospital in the trauma ward.

 

At a time like this, while Irfan is recovering, he is in no condition to get back to normal life, no matter how eager he is. While we need Irfan to focus on recovery, he does need our support in the short term so he can subsist and make his way to his doctor's and physical therapy appointments.

 

All of the proceeds will go directly to Irfan to support his day to day expenses, the costs to get to his appointments, any initial medical costs as he waits on insurance payouts, and if the funds are available to fund travel expenses for his mom to come and visit him. We are hoping to cover these expenses for the next 3 months.
