We are the Iraqi National Lacrosse Team, and this October we will compete in the Asian Championships in Australia, a tournament tied directly to Olympic qualification.

Earlier this year, our team finished 2nd at the Asian Championships in Saudi Arabia, one of the biggest accomplishments in our program’s history. Now we have a chance to build on that momentum against the top teams in Asia.

Our program is almost entirely self-funded, and we are raising $33,000 to help cover the costs of competing in Australia, including:

* Hotel accommodations

* Meals for players and staff

* Local transportation

* Practice field bookings and training costs

This tournament is an opportunity for our players to compete at the highest level and continue building something meaningful for Iraqi lacrosse.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, helps move us closer to Australia and gives our team the chance to compete for an Olympic opportunity.
