Meet Iqra Nawaz, a remarkable young woman whose story is one of resilience, determination, and the pursuit of education against all odds. At just 7 years old, Iqra's life changed forever when she lost her leg in a devastating bomb blast. But this tragedy only fueled her passion for learning.

Despite the challenges of commuting to school on crutches for six long years, Iqra completed her matriculation and intermediate education, never allowing her disability to stand in the way of her dreams. Her perseverance led her to the University of Sialkot, where she not only earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry but also learned about getting an artificial limbs. Through the support of the Safia Foundation, Iqra received her own artificial limb during her university years, enabling her to walk again.

Iqra's journey didn't stop there. While working with the Safia and Give4Needy foundations, she completed her MPhil in 2023. Now, she has been awarded a prestigious scholarship to pursue a Ph.D. in China—a dream she has worked tirelessly to achieve.
