Support Ipad's Medical needs (PU surgery)

Hello, meet Ipad. Ipad is a 3-year-old black domestic short-haired cat rescued at 12-14 weeks of age by a coworker who found him wandering around Fort Hood with his little brother in March 2022. Ipad has been an extremely affectionate cat living the best life he can with plenty of other cats to socialize and play with. Ipad waits for me to come home to greet me and holds my hand when I'm sick.

Up until last year, he had unfortunately started to have bi-yearly or more UTIs and a major urethral blockage as of June 25th, 2024. As of July 3rd, Ipad has been to the vet 4 times in the last year, costing just under or over $2k in visits and a 4-day stay at the vet with plenty of catheters, medication, and a near-fatal blockage. To hopefully prevent another near-fatal blockage, the vet has suggested a surgery known as a perineal urethrostomy (PU), which is a procedure performed on male cats to alleviate urethral obstructions, particularly those caused by feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD).

The cost of such a surgery is substantial, ranging from $1,500 to $4,500 in some cases, and can be as high as $6,000. It's hard for me to pay for this on my own, which is why I need help to raise money for his eventual surgery and aftercare medication for when he recovers. Thank you to all who can contribute.
