Support Ione's Surgery for a Healthier Life

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out today with a heavy heart to share the story of my sweet, cuddly cat, Ione. I've had the pleasure of being her owner for 4 ½ years, and in that time, she has become more than just a pet—she’s a beloved member of our family. Ione is the sweetest, most affectionate cat you could ever meet, and she’s always loved being around us, snuggling up and showing affection.

Sadly, Ione has been struggling with a serious health issue since November 2024. She has been diagnosed with ongoing kidney problems, and recently, things have gotten worse. She has also become incontinent, which means we’ve had to isolate her in our bathroom, where she has constant access to a litter box. While this is heartbreaking for us, it’s even harder on Ione, as she loves being around people and being part of the family.

Despite all of this, we are determined to help her through it. I’ve taken Ione to numerous vet visits, but today’s tests, which have already cost $1,000 out-of-pocket, may show that she needs surgery to remove either bladder or kidney stones. Unfortunately, these costs are beyond my financial reach right now, and if the surgery is necessary, I fear I won’t be able to afford it.

I never want to face the heartbreaking decision of putting her down simply because I can’t afford her medical bills. That’s why I’m asking for your help. If you’re able to contribute anything, no matter how small, it will go directly toward her care and give us the chance to get her the treatment she desperately needs.

I want to give Ione a chance to live a long, healthy life, surrounded by love and comfort. Any support you can offer would mean the world to us, and I’m incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity of friends, family, and anyone who might be able to help.
