Help Intact Global Launch a Constitutional Challenge Against Forced, Non-Religious Genital Mutilation of Males in Oregon
MATCHING CAMPAIGN: Thanks to the generous support of Doctors Opposing Circumcision (DOC), every dollar donated will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to the first $10,000 of our fundraising goal!
Introduction:
Intact Global Inc. (IGI) is dedicated to protecting children from genital mutilation and promoting bodily autonomy. We need your support to raise $50,000 for The Clopper Law Firm, P.C. (TCLF), along with Of Counsel Peter W. Adler and their co-counsel in Oregon, Bradley Lechman-Su, to initiate a groundbreaking constitutional challenge against forced, non-religious male genital mutilation (commonly referred to as "circumcision") in Oregon.
Fundraiser Goal:
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to cover the legal costs associated with this critical challenge. These funds will ensure that TCLF has the necessary resources to fight for the protection of children's rights in Oregon.
Background:
Male genital mutilation is a deeply ingrained practice that violates the bodily autonomy and human rights of babies and young children, just as female genital mutilation does, which is already outlawed in most countries—including the United States. In fact, male genital mutilation kills 100-200 children in the U.S. each year and permanently destroys approximately 75% of the sexual nerve endings in men.
Despite growing awareness of the harms of male genital mutilation, legal protections against this practice remain inadequate. Our constitutional challenge aims to address these legal shortcomings and establish stronger protections for children in Oregon.
How Your Contribution Helps:
- Legal Research and Drafting: Funds will cover extensive legal research and the drafting of necessary legal documents.
- Filing Fees and Court Costs: Contributions will help cover the costs associated with filing the case and other court-related expenses.
- Expert Witnesses: We will need to engage expert witnesses to provide crucial testimony supporting our case.
- Public Awareness Campaign: Raising awareness of the challenge and the broader issue of male genital mutilation is essential. Funds will support outreach and education efforts.
Why This Matters:
This constitutional challenge is not just about one case; it’s about setting a precedent that will protect countless children from unnecessary and harmful genital mutilation. By supporting this fundraiser, you are contributing to a historic effort to uphold children's rights and promote bodily autonomy.
How to Donate:
Please donate whatever you can to help us reach our $50,000 goal. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to achieving equal protection against genital mutilation for all children in Oregon.
Other Ways to Help:
- Share: Please share this fundraiser with your friends, family, and social networks.
- Advocate: Raise awareness of the issue of male genital mutilation and the importance of bodily autonomy.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can change the world by expanding children's rights to include being free from genital mutilation.

Update on Timing of the GoFundMe Launch:
Between the filming of Intact Global’s GoFundMe video and the publication of this campaign, Eric Clopper, the lead attorney, agreed to represent a client in trial from October 9, 2024, through October 22, 2024, in Los Angeles County. Due to the imminency of that trial and the millions of dollars in dispute, the filing of this lawsuit will not occur until late October. This additional time will also allow Intact Global to coordinate publicity and press conferences to coincide with the filing.
Tax Deductibility of Your Donation:
Intact Global is a non-profit corporation incorporated in Delaware, headquartered in California, and registered in Oregon. On June 18, 2024, Intact Global applied for 501(c)(3) status. If the IRS grants Intact Global 501(c)(3) status, your donation to this campaign will be tax-deductible, less processing fees. However, Intact Global cannot guarantee it will receive 501(c)(3) status from the IRS. We will update all donors once we have a decision from the IRS to assist with donors’ accounting and taxes.
