Salvadoreños en STEM es una red de estudiantes de doctorado e inmigrantes de El Salvador haciendo investigaciones en los Estados Unidos. Juntos, hemos creado InspiraSTEM 2025, la primera conferencia STEM en El Salvador, diseñada y liderada por científicos salvadoreños en el extranjero.

Este evento de tres días y alto impacto brindará a 100 estudiantes universitarios salvadoreños talleres avanzados en física, ciencias computacionales y análisis de datos, y biología—áreas fundamentales para la innovación y el progreso global. Además, los estudiantes tendrán la invaluable oportunidad de escuchar a conferencistas de NASA y la American Chemical Society, inspirándolos a seguir carreras en STEM.

Our Story

Salvadorans in STEM is a network of PhD students and immigrants from El Salvador conducting cutting-edge research in the United States. Together, we’ve created InspiraSTEM 2025—the first-ever STEM conference in El Salvador, designed and led by Salvadoran scientists abroad.

This three-day, high-impact event will provide 100 Salvadoran undergraduate students with advanced workshops in physics, computational science & data analysis, and biology—fields critical to innovation and global progress. Students will also have the invaluable opportunity to hear from keynote speakers from NASA and the American Chemical Society, inspiring them to pursue careers in STEM.
