Since InSpira began in 2002, I have always given 150% to make a difference in the lives of people that I touch and use the performing arts to do so. When the pandemic began for us on March 13, 2020, I applied and received numerous grants for both locations, and received PPP both times to ensure every team member (employee) did not miss a paycheck. Safety has always been and will always be my number one priority for everyone.

During this pandemic, Landlords across the country have been unforgiving of small businesses. To that end, InSpira has had its ongoing issues with our current Landlord in New Brunswick. In fact, InSpira was just notified June 13th, that we will be going to court on June 29th to resolve our issues. With that said, the future of our location in New Brunswick is up in the air. If we are not successful unfortunately we may have to vacate our premises as soon as 24 hours if the judge warrants that and find another place to have our Central NJ location.

We want to thank each and every family that has supported us throughout these 20 years. We have so many great memories. Because it's been 20 years, Mr. Leon and I have been

truly reflective. It’s beyond humbling to know that we have impacted so many lives. It’s beyond humbling that I have been able to have a great and dedicated team of people work for me and stay with me for years. This 20th Anniversary season has been so emotional as we continue to navigate through Covid.

The recitals were so AWESOME! It was great being back inside of a theater. Our hearts were truly full!! It was very difficult for us not to reveal this to you but we wanted you to have a great recital experience. Mr. Leon and I never imagined something like this happening, especially in the midst of the celebration but hence this is our reality.

My call to action for you is the following:

Do you know of any places where InSpira could go temporarily if we have to leave?

Please look out for places to go for us to move permanently because honestly, we don’t want to stay in a place that doesn’t want us and we have been there 17 years.

We are going to start a Go Fund Me page to help us with this situation and start up costs for a new space. (dance floors, mirrors etc.)

Do you have any media connections to get the word out about this situation to help us fight?
