Support Ingrid during her darkest hour.

Hi, my name is Christine, and I have started this go fund me on behalf of my dear friend Ingrid. Ingrid has reluctantly agreed to allow me to get her some much needed help.

Ingrid was a stay at home mom for over 25 years raising her 3 children who she is so very proud of. Ingrid gave up her career to devote herself to raising her beautiful family - and beautiful they are. All of her sacrifices were worth it. You can see that in her children and her relationships with them.

4 years ago, Ingrid left an abusive marriage, and started rebuilding life as a single mom. Sadly, she has found herself in financial stress since. Ingrid is often running out of money, needing to borrow money for bills and basic needs, or going without. This has caused an ongoing incredibly difficult level of stress and hardship - and the lifetime of stress and trauma has taken its toll and impacted Ingrid’s health.

Ingrid has been depleted from caring and giving to others, especially those who abused her love and care.

Recently, Ingrid was diagnosed with breast cancer, and she is now going through thorough testing and urgently awaiting treatment which will be a mix of surgery, radiation and likely chemotherapy. Now there has been a new finding - it appears that there is a second cancer present - it may be lymphoma - but this diagnosis is not yet official - there is some more testing to be done(I will update). This cancer diagnosis comes just months after Ingrid was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune/neurological condition, constant pain, fatigue and more, that has led to her being permanently disabled. This condition complicates her cancer diagnosis, treatment and healing, exacerbating her pain, fatigue, and other symptoms.

Ingrid is struggling with all this, while continuing to navigate incomprehensibly stressful, difficult, and prolonged divorce proceedings. She is being forced to fight for justice, freedom and the financial stability that she should have after years and years of sacrifice and giving.

Ingrid is strong, but she is tired and deserves the care she so freely gives others.

Ingrid needs help. Urgently. After a lifetime of caring, helping, giving, being independent, self-sufficient, and striving to be healthy and fit, Ingrid finds herself in need of our help and support.

Ingrid needs a fridge full of healthy food, medications, the best care to complement cancer treatments and she will need household help over the next year -at least.

Funds raised will help Ingrid find much needed financial relief to provide ease and comfort during her cancer treatment and healing.
