On October 5, 2025, my sister India Kerrin was involved in a devastating car accident that changed her life in an instant. The crash left her with multiple serious injuries — including a broken wrist that required a plate and screws, and a fractured leg that she cannot put any weight on for 12 weeks.

India is a 31-year-old single mother to her beautiful 8-month-old baby girl, and she works full-time with Columbus City Schools as an elementary librarian. She’s known for her warm spirit, kindness, and dedication to helping young students fall in love with reading.

Due to the severity of her injuries, India faces a long and challenging road to recovery. Once she is discharged from the hospital, she will move to an in-patient rehabilitation facility to begin physical therapy and healing. During this time, she will be unable to work or independently care for her daughter.

Our family is rallying around her, but we know this journey will take a village. We are asking for financial support to help India and her baby with:
