Hector Sanchez, lovingly known as Junior, was born in Sylmar, California, on October 4, 1981. It is with heavy heart that we share the news of his passing at the age of 43 on January 3, 2025, in Idaho Falls. Junior was the cherished son of Hector and Griselda Sanchez and the beloved oldest brother to Ernesto, Ernando, and Manuel.

From a young age, Junior had a deep love for football, proudly playing offensive line for the Sylmar Spartans at Sylmar High School. His passion for sports extended far beyond the field, especially when it came to his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Though he never started a family of his own, Junior found immense joy in the company of his nieces and nephews. He loved taking them out for meals and to the movies, treating them with the same care and affection as if they were his children, all while sharing his enthusiasm for cinema.

Despite his imposing stature, Junior had a heart of gold and was often seen as a gentle giant. His warm, jovial spirit and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. In this difficult time, we reach out to you with a request for support to help his parents and loved ones as they navigate through their grief.
