Hi, my name is Erica, I am a Family friend/Godmother to the Jones children. On behalf of the Jones family I come bearing unexpected and devastating news. Our friend and brother Jamie was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in December 2023. Unfortunately in February, Jamie received a terminal diagnosis with a short timeline and Doctors have exhausted all treatment options. We now look to focus on his quality of life and comfort. Jamie has been apart of the Southeast San Diego community many years, including his time working for Wells Fargo, Footlocker and several activities in support of his beloved community. Jamie is a loving father and husband, and many know him to be a diehard Raiders fan. More so Jamie has been a devoted friend.

In effort to assist his family in his care and expenses, we have created this page for those of you who are able to assist and support the family in this time of need. We hope to relieve some of the exorbitant financial burden that cancer puts on families but also to allow Jamie to be home with his wife and children to focus on his care as he begins his transition!

The outpouring of support has been profound. But please keep in mind that this situation is still very new to the family and they are working on digesting this new normal. We ask for your well wishes and appreciate your prayers.
