Dear Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the unexpected passing of Cecil "Pokey" Nixon. His life was marked by the three things he loved dearly: the birth of his son, his time on the football field with the Pulaski County Cougars and the years he dedicated to serving his country in the military. These were the moments that brought him joy and pride, and they are a testament to the spirit he carried throughout his life and his contribution deserves recognition.

While he may not have been close with many and his relationships with others were often distant, this is still a difficult time for his family, who are struggling to afford the expenses associated with a proper funeral and cremation.

As we all know, these services can be costly, and the family is currently facing financial hardship. In light of this, I’m reaching out to ask for your support in covering the necessary costs for cremation and any related funeral services.

The funds raised will go directly to covering:

Cremation costs

Transportation and other fees related to the arrangements
