Living in every child’s worst nightmare.

I post this in regard to my mom and my stepdad.

shortly after my mom started treatments after diagnosis of colon cancer, her husband, Gary fell sick. Come to find out, he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

the stress is nearly unbearable. This is why I ask for any help possible.

with the conditions, they are not able to work. With this, the costs of nearly everything, doesn’t seem possible.

I pray they can work on healing and resting their bodies, while bills are of less stress. Groceries, bills, and any other finance.

They are pending Medicaid and healthcare but as we know, this is a long daunting process.

cancer infusions start very soon. Getting onto marketplace with the bare minimum of scraping by with an insurance plan is going to be tough. The costliest one being the insurance plan that covers oncologists, surgeons, hematologists, and the care team at NKCH.

By October 3rd my mom will be due for her first portion of the second phase of this treatment. My stepdad needs to get his up and going.

I am kindly asking, if there’s anything someone could be of help, I would be so very grateful. They will too.

they are not used to asking for help, but they are my parents so I do not mind.

they are the loveliest of people. They extend help anywhere needed, never asking for a thing in return. It takes a village. They are great in marriage, they are parents, grandparents, step parents, siblings, and important to a lot of people.
