First and foremost, I want to thank my direct support system for donating to my last GoFundMe to make sure I was able to complete this semester at Ithaca College, and allowing me to be the first in my family to graduate a four year university. I'm excited to share that I am directing my senior thesis film "imPERMANENCE".

I'm working with about 10 individuals on this project and we need your help! My film is a multi-screen, docu-poetic exploration of grief, identity, and personal transformation. It’s a film about the ways we change, the memories that stay with us, and what it means to find softness in the middle of loss.

The project combines 16mm film, digital video, and sound collage to create a layered experience that moves between the physical and the emotional, the seen and the felt. It’s both deeply personal and universal; a space for stillness, reflection, and healing.

This film has grown out of years of creative work, spiritual practice, and self-study and it truly is the piece I’ve always hoped to make. It brings together everything I care about: cinema, spirituality, the body, and transformation.

We are asking for your help because independent filmmaking on something shot partly in 16mm is not easy, and the film stock we are using has a shortage, we also will be hand processing all of our film. For the other half, we are filming on camcorders and Mini DV tapes are getting more and more expensive.

The rest of our costs will be covering transportation and production costs as we will be traveling to Utica, NY for some of the film, and filming a live acupuncture session.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make this project possible. It allows me to focus on this creative process with care and integrity, and bring this film to life so it is seen the way it deserves to be seen.
