Support Imelda After Jackie's Cancer Fight

Our dear friend and neighbor, Jackie Cervantes, died on January 29th at the age of 57. For the past five years, Jackie has been fighting cancer that started in her lungs and spine and metastasized to her brain and body faster than her many treatments could resolve.

Her wife, Imelda, was by her side right to the end.

Jackie came to Brookmont in 2014 to join Imelda and help her run their home services business. In the process, they became a much-loved part of the fabric of our Brookmont community and many of our families. I, for one, don’t know how I would have gotten through the past ten years without them—and know that many of you share this feeling and gratitude.

The family funeral will be in Chicago on February 8th. As so often is the case, the expenses of Jackie's medical care and her funeral are substantial. We hope you can give to this fund to help Imelda through this terrible time.
