Help Imani Stay in School & Build a Global Legacy.
I’ve supported parents-to-be, guided therapy clients, served military commanders and families. I have held space for healing across continents—but nothing compares to the love and devotion I hold for my incredible children. They challenge me every day to grow, stretch, and lead by example.
And one of them, Imani, is not just brilliant. She’s bold, bilingual, and building a legacy.
Imani is currently studying Nagoya University of Commerce & Business (NUCB)in Japan. Her dream is to work internationally and help expand our family’s mental health and life coaching business, serving people across borders and breaking generational cycles through culturally rooted care.
But we’re facing a challenge that love alone can’t solve.
A Young Leader Who Keeps RisingNUCB
Imani has faced more transitions than most students her age. Due to my work with the U.S. military, she attended multiple in three countries. Through every move, she remained focused, adaptable, and determined. Even after losing her grandfather—her greatest cheerleader—she held herself and our family with grace.
She’s become a scholar, athlete, musician, martial artist, visual artist, and actress—all while becoming fluent in Japanese.
She earned an academic letter and an athletic letter, and she made history—alongside her younger sister—as one of the first American students to successfully thrive in the local host nation school system. Where previous students had struggled to stay even three months, Imani helped establish a new standard—eight years of excellence. Her perseverance broke through language barriers, bullying, and cultural hurdles, transforming foreign soil into home and paving the way for future American children to follow.
The Urgent Need: Tuition
Because NUCB is an international university, our family does NOT qualify for FAFSA, Parent PLUS Loans, private student loans, or any other form of U.S. government financial aid.
Every expense to include:
Tuition
Housing
Transportation
Meals
Healthcare
must be paid up front
As a full-time federal employee supporting the military overseas, I’ve stretched every dollar to the max to make this work over the past year. But we are now at a critical turning point.
Why Your Support Matters
Your donation will go directly toward Imani’s tuition and living expenses for the upcoming academic year, ensuring she stays enrolled and focused on her education—not overwhelmed by financial hardship.
You won’t just be helping a student—you’ll be investing in a future global leader: a young Black woman devoted to healing, equity, and building bridges between cultures and communities.
If you’ve followed our family’s journey, you’ve seen her shine.
Now, I’m asking you to help her continue.
Every Contribution Counts
Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, your support lifts the weight and fuels a dream rooted in purpose, excellence, and legacy. Any additional funds raised will go toward her third year of study.

From our hearts to yours—thank you for being part of her village.
With deep gratitude,
Ronella
