Support Imani McKnight's Healing Journey

My name is Imani McKnight and thank you for taking the time to hear my story. Sometimes life has its way of throwing us battles at the most unexpected times. And in those times our faith, patience and strength are tested. I believe God give his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers and that this was my test. On May 19th 2025 I was involved in a severe car accident which changed my life forever. This has been the most humbling experience in my life and although I’m physically, emotionally and mentally broken. I thank God everyday for life and I know that time is life’s greatest healer and this too shall pass. While doing something as simple as going to work not even 10 minutes away from home I lost control of the vehicle due to the unevenly paved highway. I completely lost all consciousness but witnesses and the police report stated that I was ejected from the front passenger side of the car. I woke up lost and confused in the emergency room with severe trauma. Some injuries include fractures to my Skull, neck, nose, jaw and ribs. I also have multiple complex lacerations on my forehead, lip and even liver which thank God wasn’t as bad as the one on my forehead. This whole process has been difficult to process and I know that the road to recovery will be slow. I’m humbly asking anyone that can afford to do so to please donate towards my healing journey. The money will go towards medical cost which include the 3 weeks spent in the hospital, facial reconstructive surgery, and post physical therapy costs. No amount is too little and even if you’re not able to donate sharing my story to others who may be able to donate is much appreciated. I also want to spread awareness to others to PLEASE drive as safe as possible and always wear your seat belts. I hope one can learn from my experience to avoid going through the same.
