Illini Ishaara, UIUC's premier Kathak dance team, is thrilled to compete at three competitions across the country through the Origins classical competition circuit this season for our third competitive season in a row. We were accepted into 9 out of 11 competitions and are proud and excited to be attending the maximum amount of competitions. While this is an incredible opportunity for growth and exposure, it also comes with substantial costs due to competition fees, travel, accommodations, and production costs.
