Hi everyone,
I’m asking for support for my sister Illana, a devoted mom to five young children. Her family has been through more than most could imagine, and the twins’ medical journey has reached another difficult chapter.
Both baby boys were born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a rare and serious congenital heart condition. They have spent much of their lives in and out of the hospital, undergoing procedures, living with feeding tubes, and fighting every day to grow and stay strong.
Illana is the person who primarily manages the boys’ medical care. She lovingly and tirelessly places their feeding tubes three to five times every single day, while juggling hospital stays, therapies, and endless doctor visits — all while caring for her other three little ones with so much love and grace.
Recently, things have become even more critical:
• Daniel underwent G-Tube surgery to safely receive the nutrition he needs.
• Donald Mikhael just had his third open-heart surgery, and he will be undergoing another important surgical procedure this December.
Both boys will also need multiple future cardiac catheterization procedures and additional open-heart surgeries as they grow.
This has meant more long days and nights in the hospital, more exhausting travel, and more expenses. Our parents help when they can, but the ongoing medical demands are still overwhelming.
If you can give anything — no matter how small — please know that 100% of all donations will go directly toward the twin boys’ medical and recovery needs: hospital bills, travel costs, therapies, medical supplies, groceries, and essentials for the children’s care and stability.
These donations are personal gifts made solely for the children’s medical expenses and family support during this long recovery journey. All funds will be managed transparently by Illana’s sister to ensure they are used only for the children’s well-being and household stability.
If you can’t give, please share this page and keep them in your prayers and your hearts. Every prayer, every share, and every kind word helps lighten their load.
Illana has always been the kind of mother who stays up all night at a hospital bedside and still wakes up with love and strength for her children in the morning. Now, she needs all of us to show up for her.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, caring, giving, and sharing. It truly means the world to our family right now.
With love and hope,
Her Sister
