My name is Iliana, though many know me as Ili. I am a Humanitarian Activist based in the United States, dedicated to supporting families in Gaza and those displaced in Egypt through fundraising initiatives. This campaign is being created to collect and directly distribute funds to families in urgent need in Gaza.

Over time, many people have reached out, wanting to send donations for me to personally distribute to individuals or families I identify as needing help most. While I deeply value the trust this reflects, I also hold transparency as a core principle in any effort I take on.

When donors choose to entrust me with their contributions, I see it as both an honor and a serious responsibility. I’ve often shared updates on Instagram highlights when donations were delivered to families, but this process has become increasingly time-intensive. By centralizing these efforts into this campaign, I can provide donors with peace of mind, showing exactly how much has been raised and which families have benefited. This approach ensures full visibility, avoids reliance on third-party payment apps, and allows us to focus entirely on getting help where it’s needed most.

I have been actively fundraising for Palestinians since November 2023, though this is far from my first experience raising funds for humanitarian aid and charitable causes. Since my high school years, I have been involved in numerous fundraising initiatives—supporting cancer research through City of Hope and contributing to global efforts like Heifer International to help feed families in Ghana, I've also fundraised for Farmworkers in America.

As a storyteller, I feel deeply honored to use my content to share these narratives and show how the world can play a role in improving Palestinian lives.

Delivering the funds:

I will personally deliver the funds to Palestinians through any payment method that is available to them and will provide receipts on my Instagram and here.

How the funds will be spent:

The funds will be spent for food, clothes, clean drinking water and medicine. For those who are just learning about this war, you need to know that there is no life in Gaza anymore, as everything has been destroyed, therefore, people cannot work and they depend on donations until this war comes to an end. Everyone has lost their home, your donation will make a difference in their life in order for them to survive.

*If you can't donate through GFM, please reach out to me. I would prefer all donations to come through here but I also understand it's not always available in all countries*
