Powering on for ILERA
Thank you, we have raised £7,441, we are so close to our £10,000 goal — and we need one final push.
Your support will help ILERA deliver essential healthcare services to women who have been forced from their homes and those living in underserved rural communities in Northern Nigeria. Funding cuts have devastated Nigeria’s healthcare system and have already reduced access to contraception, HIV testing, cancer screening, and care for survivors of ongoing conflict and violence.
With your help, we will:
• Run and equip our Women’s Health Centres in Abuja and Katsina
• Provide specialised sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and mental health training to health professionals
• Provide comprehensive SRH services, HPV vaccinations, HIV care, and cancer screening
• Deliver community outreach services, mental health support, and confidential care for survivors
In 2025, I ran 2 marathons and 22 half marathons to support this work — and next up is the Cape Town Marathon, as it prepares to become Africa’s first Abbott World Marathon Major in 2026.
If you’ve donated, thank you.
If you’ve been meaning to, this is the moment.
Please donate — and share — to help us cross the finish line.
Running in solidarity!
